I emailed CS-cart re their appaling poor excuse of an eBay application and have receivged a reply thats some what positive. See below

Should I start a new topic on this so people can suggest what they want in a CS-Cart eBay app?

I also have a post here in the suggest a feature area if any one would like to make a comment on it

http://cscart.uservo...ent-working-one

My suggestion for CS-Cart is very simple... Just copy everything M2Epro a FREE app for Magento does as it really does work very very well

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your message.

Indeed, our developers realize that the eBay synchronization add-on needs to be improved, that is why its development is planned for the beginning of June. As the new CS-Cart version has just been released, at the moment the upgrade is being prepared.

Also, our Chief technology officer would like to know how our customers see the functionality of this add-on. If you could describe your view on it, it would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Sad isnt it that they cant respond to a request and a request that will only benefit them in the long term and gain them more business

Yes I would feel that way as well parodius420 if I had purchased the rubbish that they offered as an eBay app, I am lucky I saw just how bad it was and didnt purchase it but I do feel for others that did

Looks like I will be taking my business elsewhere then to a company thats prepared to look after their clients and multi channels.. Pity as I did enjoy CS-cart but if they dont want to even answer this thread whats the point of staying with them or even recommending them

So to the CS-cart team.... how about doing us all the COURTESY of at least attempting to answer these posts and let your loyal customers know what you are going to be doing re eBay and a future multi channel selling application

The silence from the CS-cart team is deafining on a decent functioning eBay and multi-channel application, seems by the total lack of responses from CS-cart that they dont care and have no intention of offering anything thats even remotly functional like the FREE Magento M2Epro add on

So many online ecommerce sites now days want multi channels and that includes eBay and Amazon as the 2 main ones, most major retailers are on both sites.

Most of the better hosted solutions like Bigcommerce Shopify Neto Australia and ezimerchant Australia etc offer excellent eBay intergration Channeladviser also does an excellent job as well and thats just one of the many reasons that they are all doing so well and so many clients are using them rather than stand alone carts, their EBAY offering is the winning difference for many, multi channel selling from 1 application is what retaliers want, its what I want

BUT alas not from CS-cart who seem to be living in the early part of 20th century and not the 21st ecommerce century

If it was me I would have looked at the professional M2Epro code (a long time ago) and then written code to do what they do so well. Heck even take the easy route and make their code work with CS-cart, how hard would that be?

But as CS-cart are silent on this topic we dont know

We even have a hosted solution now for Magento and offering M2Epro

Pixafy have just been put forward as the preferred DIY solution for Magento, by Magento themselves and offering M2Epro as well
http://www.pixafy.com/

Come on CS-cart before people like me jump ship to a multi-channel eBay solution thats professional come back and at least make a post in here as to what direction you are going on this.

I am not trying to promote any of these other companies, I am simply using them as examples of having a professional eBay and multi channel application on offer. I would prefer to stay with CS-cart as I think that their cart software is excellent (far easier to use than Magento) BUT unless they come up with a better eBay multichannel application I wont be staying as my business model is across multiple channels not just a stand alone web site and CS-cart are falling way short on that front.

SO come on CS-cart staff how about a response.....

Anyone from CS-Cart want to join into this as your eBay addon is rather clunky well in truth it sucks and to set it up so it talks to ebay SUCKS as well

How easy is M2Epro to setup so it talks to eBay http://docs.m2epro.c...eBay+to+M2E+Pro

Now thats EASY and doesnt involve jumping through hoops and opening this account and that account etc

I dont want to have to change to Magento but unless you do something with a M2Epro level of ebay application I will have to

eBay to me and so many others in the world of ecommerce out there is a part of a general sales strategy and a huge part to many and as much as I love CS-cart its failing badly in this area, very badly.

If you want cs-cart to continue to grow and to get an entire new group of customers and make your existing customers happy you really do need to spend some time and code a professional multi country eBay addon and quickly

M2Epro is FREE but I would pay for a decent professional offering from CS-cart but alas you dont have one worth paying for

So some responce from CS-cart would be nice

Heck guys as a suggestion go and download M2Epro and have a look at how well and easy it works and how well it synchronisers in both directions

I have a good friend who has 80000 SKU's on their magentoCE website and synchs the entire lot to eBay in both directions and never had a problem as it just works unlike the cs-cart poor excuse for an eBay addon. It does all orders, it adjusts stock levels in both directions for sales and stock additions etc and you only need 1 screen to do it all from and thats the M2Epr screen

So come on CS-cart time to get your act together and quickly and get a real working professional eBay addon out
