Must say I did not know if I wanted to spend the money to purchase another add on that may or may not work. But after I purchased and read the instructions which you should do and install. So far I love it. I do wish I could install all 3 at the same time to test each one to see how I like them.

So I get an email today from my store saying that my store has just been upgraded. I login to check to see what is going on. It was still at 4.2.4. I checked the logs and seems it may have been someone from cscart logged in as me. I did give them access in my ticket.

I checked the helpdesk ticket and this is what they said
We increased the value of the memory_limit directive on your server, so you should be able to upgrade your store to the latest version.

I did the upgrade and it worked like a champ.

Have tried to do the upgrade. We click on the install and are brought to a white page.

It just sits there not doing anything.

Although this cost me tech support time for a problem that they were aware of.
I did get a QUICK RESPONSE and fix.

The issue was caused by the cache. I have renamed the var/cache directory and the issue is resolved now,

Do I need to enter data into the Store fields or can they be empty?

Is there a way to just make the store field NOT required in the import?

You would enter the data in the store field.
If you export a user from 4.01 you will see what you need to put in the field.
Just put it into one of them and you can drag that corner down of that cell through all the users and it will duplicate it for all of them.

I have a csv file of products I tried to import with the Import data tool but it will not work. Is the Import data tool working in CS-Cart 4 ?

They say they are working on the import tool. As far as importing products. You will have to add 2 groups to your csv file, Store and Language. If you add a couple products to 4.01 then export them you will see how to setup your csv file.

Hi all. I keep getting this error when trying to install 4.0.1 and its already disabled. Any ideas? Thanks

Fail "Register globals" mode should be disabled

If you look in the root directory of your install you may see a file called php.ini or php5.ini
You can open it up with notepad or your favorite editor you will see register globals = on just change it
to off and save.

I disabled mine and had to wait like 24 hours for it to show up as disabled using godaddy.

You may have been looking at products_links_thumb.tpl. But in this file it calls links_thumb.tpl

If you are using the Best Sellers then you go to
/skins/YOUR SKIN NAME/customer/blocks/list_templates
and edit links_thumb.tpl

You will see something like
image_width="70" image_height="70"

During install it asks you for the languages that you would like to install. If I am correct you can just go back and reselect these.

I saw a while back where someone had done this.

I am looking to add the product image to the invoice when we print it out. This makes it easier when completing the orders for us.
