Bounce Rate Suddenly High After Upgrade

I was wondering if you guys could take a look at my site. I upgraded a few days ago from 2.1.x to 3.0.6 and we went from a bounce rate of 1% to 50%. I've checked with browsershots but don't see any issues. I did not change the design but just a few features. Any thoughts would be great. Thank you!

Breadcrumbs Are Not Really Breadcrumbs

So breadcrumbs are supposed to lead you back the path you followed. Why is it that in version 3 if you have items in more than one category, they show the path from the main category, rather than the actual path the customer took? This is going to confuse the customers.

I just noticed this after spending months upgrading and am about to change over my nameserver.
My problem is that I restructured the entire site and hid their original main category. I don't want to change their main categories because that will change my url's which would be devastating to SEO. Any suggestions? Thanks!

variant select redundancy

It would be nice to be able to remove the select box (or radio list) if you use variant images as it would be a much more elegant looking solution. It seems redundant to have both the image and the select box. Does anyone know to remove the select box?

CscartRocks has done another modification for us has done amazing work again. I have had cscart rocks do all my modifications for a few years now and each time the timeliness and professionalism has been outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a custom modification.

add to cart slow - 3.0.6

Hi. I'm in the process of upgrading to 3.0.6 and have installed gzip and smartoptimizer, and am in live mode. Unused addons are uninstalled and statistics are off, but the add to cart funtion about 3 loading cycles as opposed to my 2.1.4 store that adds almost immediately. I thought it might be the table of options addon but disabled that and there is still no difference. It is extremely frustrating. Just about everything is slow! (both are on the same server)

Any suggestions?
