Everyone has their oppinion.
I been with them for a long time and no issues. Great support within an hour if you have questions. Every hosting company has its problems. One thing about Dreamhost...they share all their info with the customers if there is a problem. Never seen other host do that except ignore you when you do have issues.

I appreciated but I host our company's cart on a dedicated server.
I only use Dreamhost for my own sites that don't really require as much
Thanks

Ironic that your another statistic after that comment, sorry to hear about the downtime but that's just plain funny considering the circumstances lol.
I can't recall the last time my own host went down. And even then I was down 1 hour.

LOL, I pay around $1500/mo for my servers. Mind you I have two dedicated servers, a dedicated firewall, Exchange Server and Managed Backup. All with Rackspace. We also have a sandbox account on their server cloud. If you have a lot of traffic or need server level access this is definitely the way to go. Rackspace service and support are as good as it gets.
Finally someone who knows what they are doing.
$3 webhosting gets you just that.. ****
