Here's the main part of the new Dutch language file for 1.3.4. It's a new cscart_language_values file, with the original English data, and the Dutch data (no other languages included!).

[edited June 12 2011: This file is way too old, has been lost with a server move and is not available anymore, sorry...]

Directions:
- Don't use the internal restore function of CS Cart. I don't get it to work properly when restoring a single file. Maybe I do something wrong, and maybe it's a bug.
- Just use phpMyAdmin or something similar to run a SQL import query from the top level. It then deletes your current file, and imports my new file. This will work great.
- Be safe and back up your current cscart_language_values file before importing mine.
- Be sure to set the characterset to CHARSET=latin1 before importing.
- My settings in the languages section of CS Cart are to use only English and Dutch. So my language file only contains those two languages. Please be aware that you will lose all other languages when using my file, and you may have to import other languages again. Also be aware that you will lose any modifications to the English texts you may have done.

I know other parts of the language data are stored in several other files. I have to figure out what's the best way to export/import the whole bunch together. Anyone have an idea? Why is the language file mechanism not improved in the latest version anyway?

-----------------------

I am aware of the technical and not so user friendly way of importing the language file. My database skills are limited. If someone knows how to do this better, and easier, and importing only the new Dutch data without affecting other languages, I really would like to know!

Hi Jurgen!
Fantastic, cant wait.....but one thing: the zip file is corrupt..........
Its most likely not your fault, since that seem to happen a LOT here.
Maybe you can re-upload or also put it on your server or so?

Alvast bedankt! Schitterend :D

I removed the internal attachment and added a link to the file on my website.

I hope you like it!

Actually, I'm working on it right now ;) There is a Dutch translation already inside the download of 1.3.5, but it's a weird hybrid of elements of my old translation, some added and changed texts by another translator, and lots of untranslated English stuff. All in all, it's pretty useless. So I started working my way through the complete texts to make it all correct. I have to do this besides my normal work, so it may last a week or so to complete it. I work on it daily though, and have done about 25% now. So if you can be a little patient, you'll have a good and complete translation within a week :D

wow... thnx for the quick reply ;)

First time I use Cs-cart and indeed.. the dutch version is very 'horrible'. Can't you just ask the Cs-cart-staff to implement your transelation into the next releases from now on? They must reward you some how for your time you spend on this transelations (different versions).

I hope one of the administrators will read this :P

thnx in advance!

you're welcome :-)

No, im not running a live shop yet with cs-cart. my new company is
still in its first stages......but i will, and i will be using cs-cart!

oh, and b.t.w. for the dutch users:
next version will be with these extra payment gateways:
-iDEAL
-Chronopay.com
-Buckaroo

Should be fantastic news for dutch users!
Now only to get the peeps from competitive products
over here, where they're better off lol

First I want to thankyou for the translation , I was installing cscart a new , and I had a long time translating the first time , and did not know how to backup translation files , it seems the translation is put inside the database.
Above you write about the next version , of cscart ?
I really want iDeal on the site , is there a other way to put iDeal inside cscart ?
Or do I have to buy the newest version ?

Thanks again
Cheers

I recently started to implement 1.3.5 sp3 on my production server. Any complete and correct Dutch language pack available? Who's got the most recent version? I will add missing content.

hi martin,
that would be great (or anyone else who has a good full dutch translation).
you can do that by going to the admin-section, choose DB backup and select the tables:

`cscart_country_descriptions`
`cscart_common_descriptions`
`cscart_language_values`
`cscart_settings_descriptions`

Then, when done, zip this sql-file that you just created and offer it here.
thats all! :D

Doei!

The current version supports Buckaroo and Chronopay as iDEAL payment providers, and iDEAL Basic from ING as direct payment option. The next version will have MultiSafePay as iDEAL payment provider as well.

Is this file available somewhere?

BTW: MultiSafePay has created their own plugin, you can download it from their website.

OK, i started to translate and correct myself and am almost finished. (95% done).
My god, what a terrible job that is!

I am thinking of charging a small amount of money for it (f.i. 10 euro), any feedback on this would be gladly appreciated.
