I am install 2.0 on my pc for testing etc.
However I keep getting messages similar to this…
[COLOR=“Red”]Installing color scheme templates…
Creating directory skins/basic/customer
Creating directory skins/basic/admin
ERROR occurred while coping the files! Please check if the var/skins_repository/basic/admin directory exists, has read permissions and the skins root directory has write permissions[/COLOR]
Question…
How can I set permissions on Windows XP?
If I go to properties for folders and change there, they seem to switch back to Read only???
Any advise appreciated.

I created the folder Admin and this time it worked.

What are you using for the local server. I use Wamp Server and have no problems. I maybe able to help you.

Wamp, windows xp.
I have installed Wamp and it works fine except the error on Admin side.
Had a few problems installing, as you will note from my posts, but managed to bungle my way through. Stumped now though.:rolleyes:
Your help would be appreciated as always.
