I’m not sure of a real easy way, but you can use the export feature and export your image data as a csv file then add the alt text. In the image below the alt text is what follows the #

Don’t forget there is alt text for both the detailed image and the thumbnail.

Hey Men…

How i do that what are you say? Where and How?

Thanks and advance…

I’ve never tried it myself, but you should be able to:

Before you do anything, make a backup of your database so if something gets messed up you can revert back.

  1. Go to admin - Administation - Export
  2. Click on the Images tab
  3. Select all the fields to export
  4. Change the delimiter to Comma (This is your descretion)
  5. Click Export and save to your computer
  6. Change the file using Excel or whatever
  7. Go to your admin - Administraion - Import
  8. Browse for the file you just changed
  9. Click Import

The only thing I am not sure about is the image paths. I’ve never truly understood this so I really can’t help you there.

As long as you first backup your database you really can’t go to wrong. It would also be best to not make your first attempt on a live store. Before I try anything new I always test it on my localhost installation of CS-Cart.

    I hope this helps,

    Brandon

Hey Brandon,

I test in localhost in my computer and if i have a problem i tell you.

Thanks for your advice.
