Seo works fine on 1.35 but with beta 2 i get this error?
SEO urls can’t work for now - they were disabled. Please check your Apache and mod_rewrite settings.
When i look in my php-info, this should work? Anyone else with the same problem? I do not want to completely reinstall the website, i almost copied all the data.

same problem, however I’ve scene it working on other sites so I don’t know what it is on the server side causing this problems…
I have cs-cart running on the same server, version 1.3.5
another url but a live and working cs-cart. SEO is working great on the same server, same configuration, same everything.
I think it still has to be something with beta-version?
Yep, same here. Mine is a subdomain of the live store so maybe there is a conflict between the two.?
Has there been any solution to this issue?

Are you using latest 2.04 on server or pc?

Server version: Apache/2.2.3
Server built: May 28 2009 12:49:04
checked .htaccess and permissions.

other carts seo works fine on server ,
mod_rewrite is enabled
and working fine with other scripts …
I had the same issue.
I’ve changed directly in database the status in cscart_addons from D to A and it’s working.
I am having the same problem!!
I have tried 2.0.5, 2.0.6 and now 2.0.7 and the addon fails to work on all of them?
I already have two 1.3.5 stores on the same hosting and the SEO addon works fine so mod_rewrite is on etc.
This needs to sorted out by CS-Cart quickly.

uninstall and reinstall and it should start as active and work for you. I assume it bypasses the checks that run on acivate!!!
But i believe it relates to PHP running in CGI mode server side - at least that was the problem when this happened in 1.3 generation that we resolved.
