Warning! Your password must be different from your username!
I’ve changed the password, logged out then back in. The password has changed but i can’t get rid of the message. Yes i clicked on the cross to close the box, but when i hit home it comes back.

In the new notification system, there is a flag passed to the message handler that indicates whether to make the message persistent or not. I’m assuming they have that set (inadvertently) for this username/password error. Until another error is generated without the flag set, the message will persist. At least that’s my digestion of the code.
I just had the exact same problem with this and for some reason, the same as many of the different posts on here, Public Liability Insurance Quote just stopped and for some reason just ddin’t reappear when i went back on so i’m not sure why yours is so persistent.
