Prove that CS-Cart is better than X-Cart

Well there is a reason Xcart doesn’t do this themselves. LOL

Because CS does all that plus more, and doesn’t charge a single penny for any of the “X-cart Addons”

I’d be interested to see if you took this post over to X forums and asked why they don’t have a comparison to CS. I bet your thread is deleted in under 12 hrs.

Cheers!

close to 50% of the CS users here are former X-Craap customers who got fed up with X-Craaps extremely poor service, plus at CS we have tons of addons/mods/features included FREE that you would have to buy from 3rd party vendors at X like boomboy and fireballs, what they sell for BIG $$$ you get FREE at CS, in addition some of these X modders have CS licenses so they can ripoff code, ideas from CS and make knockoffs at X, so why not buy the real deal and get a ton of FREE mods and features that X doesn’t have…

hop over that fence onto our side and read a little recap from the past:

That’s right, 0ver $1800+ in FREE Addons included in CS-CART, yep with other carts you would have to spend over $1800+ to 3rd party vendors to get all the addons/mods/features below that you get FREE in CS-Cart, do the math and see why CS-Cart is the best E-Commerce solution for your business, killing the competition one sale at a time:

OWNED! by CS-CART!

Thanks Sno!

Now you know the reasons.

I have just started using CS-Cart again was using X for a couple of years.

Got feed up with 3rd party mod company’s going walkies.

In my own opinion Cs-Cart is the best at the moment they have come a long way from when i first starting using it there is no comparison Cs all the way;).

In this day in age money is tight $265.00 i think it is now? for a shopping cart with all the additions?

snorocket I thought that post was pined at the top hehe.

http://forum.cs-cart.com/showthread.php?t=4531

yea I decided to let it fall and get buried because when you see what’s coming in the next release it’s going to be a major shocker, especially to the competition, hehehehehe…

Don’t visit here much at the moment, busy n all that…

Close to 50% of the CS-Cart users here are former X-**** customers who have got fed up with X-****, mainly know easy way of upgrading from one version to the next, needing to pay more for any third party add-ons, including the cart owners modifications that became incompatible with the software, one example is the tabs mod.

And this could go on and on.

Don’t get me wrong…

I chose CS-Cart because it had features no other cart had… at the time, after trying almost all other carts, I couldn’t find anything else worthy of using, till now.

This particular version I do not like, so I choose to wait and see if CS-Cart can rein in their good hard work until this release v1.3.5 with v1.3.6, including the tabs mod.

I now think that the Ecommerce platform for all carts to compare with is:

Magento. This cart was only released one year ago and just look at the features it boasts for your self, look at the community that has been created, look at the size of its following.

I still love this cart and hope CS-Cart put their all into this next version.

–CS FEATURES–

PROS - CS has a very robust list of features to fit most likes…at no additional charge.

CONS - While I would agree that CS has a ton of features, they really need to pay more attention on speeding up their cart. Tons of features are no good if they slow down the cart too much.

–CS SERVICE–

PROS - CS has probably the BEST customer service I have seen out there! They respond fast and are very helpful.

CONS - The long drag from one day to the next sometimes extends a problem. Since I am in the US I usually have to wait overnight to hear a response.

–CS PRICE–

CS is a VERY competitive product. We have purchased the shopping carts that cost a couple thousand dollars, paid another couple thousand to put add-ons and still do not have the features that CS has.

–CS FORUM–

CS offers a VERY open forum that allows people to post pretty much anything. This keeps their forum very honest and “open” to anyone wanting to check out CS.

I too hope the new CS is much better and not only blows away the competition, but blows away their old product! The BIGGEST thing they need is a cart that functions faster!!!

I should also mention CS should not need the “getimages” and other garbage that some servers do not offer.
Hello. I’m new to the forums, currently using X-Cart but thinking about getting another cart solution.

The title of this forum is “Why CS-Cart”, but there’s no post that easily answers this question. I recommend that the moderators create a sticky for new customers that answers “Why CS-Cart”.

But don’t list things that are expected in a shopping cart, like “Inventory tracking” and “Gift Certificates”. Instead, compare your cart’s features with your competitors. Even X-Cart is providing a cart comparison here:

X-Cart: Transforming your eCommerce vision into reality.

Remember, when new customers click “Why CS-Cart”, they expect to see a clear answer. And there’s no better way to answer that question than to compare your cart with your competitors, starting with X-Cart.
You may also want to check out what CS says about their cart. I could not find the comparison, but they do list all of their features at…

you know guys… what’s funny about this thread is that the person who posted the question isn’t a member, and probably isn’t even reading this… they just posted it to try and “stir things up” so to speak… not saying that’s the truth, but it does seem that way since there hasn’t been a response from the originator since the beginning of the thread

Anonymous / Visitors have to get their posts approved prior to the public / members seeing the threads. Since been done, and they’ve replied back :stuck_out_tongue:

The Great part about all this, is we are talking about other carts and what they may offer vs CS, good or bad.

Try to do that at the X forums and see what happens…

Tell Adolf (ruslan) we say hello from CS.

I’ve been on board with cs-cart for 60 days as of this writing. I have several successful on line ecommerce sites but, always known different carts fell short. Until cs-cart. While cs-cart has it’s occasional challenges I must say I won’t develop with any other product. Their price point is outstanding, the community is strong, active, helpfu and lthe documentation is well written. i know technology very well and this is well done.

I can only say that anyone should try it as they won’t be disappointed.

I researched all comparable shopping cart programs prior to selecting CS-Cart. It is the best solution I have found. I agree totally with the above post!

I agree with the above posts.

We have used x-craap for several years than changet to cs-cart.

Don’t want to go back!!!

Is more more better, the desing is based on css and has a lot of incorporated modules for free.

I don’t know it that the best one but very good.

I can recommend this shopping cart engine.

I just spent the last two days working on a Mageneto Site. That is very very much a huge pain. It is cool once it gets running but its a mission just to change the header tags!. Not very fun!.
I just spent the last two days working on a Mageneto Site. That is very very much a huge pain. It is cool once it gets running but its a mission just to change the header tags!. Not very fun!.
I have used Magento since its release, as with any cart software there is a learning curve. I now get around magento as easily as I do now with CS-Cart.

The real thing with Magento its in its backing, from templates, Open Source free or commercial at very good prices, have you seem the templates from template monster, to community extensions, then there is Magento’s core extensions, not to mention the fact that upgrading is a piece of cake. Many stores can all run within a single instance of Magento.

You can go on and on.

I still love this cart and hope CS-Cart put their all into this next version because X-**** is now dyeing from not looking and listening.

The gif below is the start of what my store will look like when finished, $100.00 with 1yrs magento upgrade, and nothing gets messed up.

Capture1.jpg

the thing i do not like about mageneto is how the F**K! do you change the header!. it can’t get rid of default store , I am only going to run one store at the moment.

magento and the rest of the wannabe carts won’t even be able to come close to matching the functionality in the next release of CS…

Hey Sno

You keep on talking about the next release. Do you have any screen captures or something to share? I know that you have worked with CS-Cart in the past on projects so I am assuming that you might be testing 1.3.6. Am I right?

Brandon

your correct, however part of the agreement is not to discuss anything in detail, I’d like to stay on board so I don’t need to be compromising anything, hang tight though, turkey day will be here before you know it…
