my tax is being rounded up. my state tax is 6%. so in my taxes i have a CT tax and its set at 6%.

i have an item im testing with at $1599, so the tax should be 95.94 and in the cart its $96.00

any ideas

thanks

I agreed with you. They calculate the sale tax per item, but not the subtotal.

Yes it is a bug, I had to pay cs-cart to fix it.
It was $105 but got hot rush service and was $210

You should not be paying for a bug in the code.

I know, but I needed it and decided to pay. It's a tax-rite off anyways for my business :)

Hi,
I agree with Zardos. If CS-Cart confirmed that there is a bug in the code and the problem was not caused by any modification, mods, etc., you should not have been charged.

I agree with the others: you (we) should not have to pay to have a bug fixed. This is a horrible precedent and is the kind of thing that would encourage me to consider a different software vendor.

they checked it out, and i checked it on other products. it seems if the tax comes out to .9* it will round up. but anything else it will stay exactly correct
