when add new product, if the product id is left blank it will CS-Cart will generate an unique product ID.
That would be nice with the ability to define the Syntax of the ID. Ie start ponts, alpha numeric etc…

I think Zencar or Cube Cart already have that option, It’ll be nice to see that on CS-cart
