Currency Conversion before Sending to Authorize.net

Hello CS-Cart People,

Please can someone suggest how I can configure/tweak CS-Cart to send converted currency to Authorize.net instead of the base currency.

The issue is this: My Store base currency is not in US dollars, when customers choose US Dollar currency option to view items and prices in US$ and then decide to make a purchase using credit card; However, CS-Cart sends base currency price (instead of the US dollar amount the customer sees in the shopping cart and shown in the invoice at checkout). My assumption was that CS-Cart is intelligent enough to send the amount/figure in the currency customer chooses instead of base currency.

For examples, in a case whereby my base currency is 120 units to $1, CS-Cart sends $24,000 to Authorize.net for charge instead of $200.00.

Please is there a possible work-around? Please any ideas?

Thanks

The same problem: I’ve added a new currency (the currency of my country: PEN (S/.)), and have become it the main, leaving the dollar as the 2nd currency. The problem I have is that when you process the transaction in my cart to be paid with Paypal, Paypal shows me the total of the order (which should be in local currency) as if in dollars and not converted into dollars ($) or otherwise I place it in my local currency.

Example: The total comes S/.120.00, and the dollar equivalent is $ 40.00. Paypal puts me $ 120.00 (USD)
