Is CS-Cart able to sell digital goods such as ebooks, zip files etc?
Is there a module that can do this and send the user a download link?

Yes CS is capable of this out of the box.
For some reason I just get the Invoice when I buy a downloadable good and not a link to it.
A more advanced question… Is it possible to have a downloadable good with diferent options (like resolution: 800x600, 400x300) and a File to download associated with each option ??

No it’s not possible. I did ask the same months ago through the helpdesk area and the only way to have this feature is applying for custom services if you cannot code it yourself.
