Locked myself out of admin - please help Rate Topic   - - - - -

I have been very stupid and turned on access restrictions for admin and set it up to only allow access from certain IP's - problem is I didn't set up the IP's so am now locked out.

I found this post and have been able to find the part they are talking about in the database but don't know what to change or delete.

"Ok, I figured out how to get rid of the IP block. It's actually in the database and not the file system. In the database it is under "cscart_access_restriction_ips". Hope this helps if anyone else has any trouble with blocking themselves out. LOL"

Any help would be appreciated.

Running this query in phpmyadmin should disable the access restriction addon

UPDATE `cscart_settings` SET value='N' WHERE option_name='access_restrictions';

Always backup the database before running any query on it.

Happened to me last night installing CS Cart for the first time. Never, never change anything until you setup admin fields including email addresses. If you set email address for user login before doing this, you'll lock yourself out and you can't request a new password without a valid email.
