HelloOur marketplace is based in North America and almost all vendors (95% of over 600 contacted) use Shopify. There 100% NEEDS A BUILTIN SHOPIFY INTEGRATION for cs cart multivendor or it will become obsolete throughout Canada and the USA.
Almost every zoom call or email exchange we have with potential vendors ends up with them loving what we're doing and then asking if it integrates with Shopify because they don't want to have to manage 2 stores. This response is so redundant and prevalent that it's an issue I never forecasted 1.5 years ago when I made the decision to go with CS Cart.
ALMOST ALL North American VENDORS USE SHOPIFY AND BECAUSE CS MV DOESN'T INTEGRATE THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BIGGEST DOWNFALL AND BARRIER TO ONBOARDING VENDORS. PLEASE PLEASE INTEGRATE SHOPIFY.
Webkul has some sort of add-on but this is unused and has few reviews and many are bad. This issue is too important to be left to 3rd party addon and needs to be a part of the software.
I stress that this issue is huge for North America and with Shopify growing around the world now, it is necessary.
Does anyone have a solution for this or thoughts?
It is a very expensive solution to develop and at the rate that cs-cart is changing core functionality (like product types), the expected maintenance to keep it running properly will be very high. Product variations actually help, but common products makes it much harder.
Ryan, I agree with you. Australia and New Zealand e-commerce users predominantly use Shopify
