Sending Emails Via Smtp & G-Suite

It was a bit tricky to set up CS-CART to work with the G-Suite account. However, after getting it working, I wonder why google keeps CS-CART as a "less secure app"? I did set up all email traffic via SSL (CS-CART), and it looks like it works.
Is there anything else to set on CS-Cart and raise the security level on google G-Suite admin?
I'd like to keep security issues well maintained without this kind of warnings.

Yep, this is the reason I am not using gsuite for sending mail anymore, only for receiving and replying. Using amazon ses for this

It worked fine until today. This sounds like a CS Cart issue.

ErrorMessage could not be sent.

Mailer Error: SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

So far it appear once only.

If this is turned off then you will not be able to send mail from cs-cart via gmail smtp

That on is on, it was one of the first things I did. G-Suite/gmail setup is all fine. Once I add the info to CS Cart, all goes ok and I get green OK'd all over. HOWEVER, after a while it gave that error and refer to github.

Do you use your main credentials or custom password only for 3rd party app? Afaik for google mail to give access to 3rd party apps you have to create unique password

I use the main at the moment. Not sure how to add 3rd party app passwords to google. I did all possible changes on dedicated server and I still get SMTP connect failed.

was this issue fixed? if yes how did you fix it?

Believe me this issue will come back and back if you use gsuite. I used it for 7 years and every so many months ran into this. Now iā€™m using a specialized service and never had the problem again.
