Cs-Cart And Multi-Vendor 4.12.2 Released

We have released CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.12.2. Although it is a patch release, it brings quite a few improvements. Here are the major ones:

Multi-Vendor:

- The ability to export data feeds from the specific storefront added.

- A vendor payment method can now be added to a shipping method of the marketplace.

- Improved behavior of products with no category assigned.

CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor:

- It is easier to see and understand where messages come from.

- Customers can now work with their carts from different devices, if they have signed in.

- Reviews of product variations don’t disappear now.

- Export/Import of states now has a separate tab.

- It’s easier to add products to manually-filled blocks.

- CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor now support Google Analytics 4.

- More pages have context menus.

The upgrades to version 4.12.2 are already available. As usual, for the first couple of weeks after the release we hand out upgrade packages in limited numbers, but then we lift that restriction. So if you don’t see this upgrade in your Upgrade Center yet, please try again later.

P.S. We have released version 4.12.2 SP1. It solves a problem that prevented you from creating a product feature with the "Number slider" filter type. We have also released 4.12.2 SP2. It solves an issue with the cart getting cleared if the customer decided to sign in at checkout, and a couple of other problems.

its wont update. db primary key error for vendor_communication.message_received-internal-A and vendor_communication.message_received-mail-A

try insert same records again. but lines already there. anyway i removed following records first. after run upgrade completed without error

Looking if the reported bugs have been fixed...

4.12.1 - 110 bug fixes

4.12.2 - 96 bug fixes

On an average 100 bugs a release..not bad :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Thanks.

One thing to note here is that 4.12.1 was being developed for a better half of 2020. In addition to all the new functionality, it included some bug fixes that could only be fixed in a minor version (the one where the second number changes). Whereas 4.12.2 came out within a couple of months, to address whatever issues that were discovered when thousands of people started using the functionality and sending us feedback. That, and solutions to some of the older issues were also included.

Yes, we do. Here's how we do it. At the moment, the fastest way to get a problem looked into is to contact our support through Help Desk. They'll try their best to help you, regardless of whether or not it's a CS-Cart bug. To initiate the investigation, you do need support credits or subscription (they come with your license), but bug fixes are free (credits get returned to your account if the problem was caused by something on our end).

ikoshin mate please fix mobile app bugs.

for eg: my listing product price is 12.75 TL when you add cart, cart total show 13 TL

and i am try integrate an payment method all is done. but during placing order its 400 bad request error

/api/4.0/sra_settlements?sl=tr&items_per_page=20&s_layout=18&lang_code=tr¤cy=TRY HTTP/1.1" 400 49 "-" "csnative/1 CFNetwork/1126 Darwin/19.5.0"

try to post

return Api.post('/sra_settlements', data)
      .then((response) => {
        dispatch({
          type: SETTLEMENTS_SUCCESS,
          payload: response.data,
        });
    return response;
  })

but api SraSettlements entities doesnt have any constant SETTLEMENTS_SUCCESS.

Another bugs;

- Profile fileds state country fileds not dropdown only input, record appear with state code. its happen both ( profile fileds and checkout)

- In site not used profile fields still appear checkout and profile fileds ( eg: we dont use billing address all is closed but in mobile still there ), also order info show same fields..

-Feature varianted producs selector. pelase seperate from product features section. its not like looking varianted product. no one customer dont go and click color feature.

- logged user if close app. after restart app cant delete cart and wishlist products

i know you say again. if another user can want same thing we will do . but there are important bugs !

almost 1,5 year past, we still don't have a running and stable mobile app.

Thanks.

Understood that a major release might be buggy but I believe the real reason for high number of bugs is the long list of functionality you guys trying to cram it in and it leaves little time and resources for you test everything. Between the two releases I counted some 18 bugs related to checkout, shipping and payment..all three a shopping cart should do flawlessly that is the core purpose of the shopping cart! But you guys spend way too much time on bells and whistles and end up spending less effort on core shopping cart functionality. My 2 cents.

Thanks.

@ikoshkin

Checkout this two bugs..a shopping cart should do this flawlessly 99% time.

OK so since when this is removed?

Admin > product details page > Pricing / inventory

Zero price action:
Track inventory:
Minimum order quantity:
Maximum order quantity:
Quantity step:
List quantity count:

Do not see above in latest cs-cart demo ??

I was told that these product settings were not ready for 4.12.2.

What do you mean by "were not ready for 4.12.2" ?

Admin > product details page > Pricing / inventory

I get a feeling this functionality was removed and will re appear in B2B version...

This is unfair, now you cannot even specify minimum for purchase

They were put into "Settings > Checkout" by default. That way, if you have common rules for such things, you can specify them once and for all products. There is also an icon next to each settings. It allows you to return each of these settings to the product level, so that you can override them product-by-product.

That way, the interface is easier for newcomers; experienced users also benefit from it because they can change certain settings globally, and affect all the products (except for those that have custom values for such settings).

P.S. "Track inventory" is now located in "Settings > General".

Thank you for your responds :D I am paranoid that some of the features are slipping away ;)

PS wish you would do something similar to

Settings: General > Allow negative amount in inventory per individual product not only globally per whole store

I would like to know if CSC ever plans on letting single store users have access to the warehouse addon. It's been discussed in previous posts but nothing has been spoken of since.

Just curious what drove this UI change? Have seen zero complaints about these product specific settings being on the products.details page? They are easily settable in mass via product import. While I understand that Track Inventory is more than likely a global setting based on business practice, min_qty, qty_step, zero_price_action and max_qty are most likely product specific for many/most merchants.

But as a matter of practice, I'd be very interested to know the customer driver for these changes.

I'm hoping that these values remain in the product_data so that existing addons that modify them programatically will not break. I.e. a wholesale addon that allows for different min_qty and qty_step based on whether a user is in a wholesale group or not.
