For the past week we have recieved complaints from some customers that have problems placing orders in our webshop. We have not done any updates or changes to the software/server that could explain the problems. We keep getting orders, so not all customers have problems and the problems are a bit diffuse. But we have investigated and customer are reporting:
Customers having problem clicking on page 2, page 3 and so on on product pages
Problems choosing variants, as it dont "refresh" the correct sku/price when choosing size(variant)
Problems when trying to "place order". Nothing happens when clicking on that button on the checkout page.
Problem can "disappear" when page is refreshed, but appears again shortly after.
So we are trying to figure out what/where the problem is. Does anyone have an idea where to look or how to solve it? Could there be a 2020 vs 2021 issue?

What kind of Storage backend for sessions are you using? We had very weird similar problems like this when we switched to Redis. When the store became a bit busy, people were reporting the weirdest stuff and turnaround was 30% lower than usual. I never noticed anything myself when running tests, but switching back to file fixed this issue: the complaints are gone and turnaround was back to normal.

Session storage is reworked for next version of CS-Cart, would be interesting to see how that changes things.
