We spent the past couple months working on the new Paypal Commerce Integration with CS-Cart MVE, but upon testing we found that the checkout experience is unusable for a few reasons:
1) If you click the "Pay with PayPal" button at Checkout, then X out of Paypal without completing payment and then click the "Pay with PayPal" button again the system completes the Order as successful and complete...even though it was never paid.
2) If you "X" out of Paypal, go back to browsing the marketplace, then go back Checkout the "Pay with Paypal" button is now gone and the "Place Order" button appears...and it allows the buyer to complete checkout without paying.
3) The PayPal "Debit or Credit Card" option experience doesn't make sense and creates an unpleasant checkout experience. Specifically because it's asking the buyer to enter all their information twice. The buyer has to first enter their Name, Phone, Email and Address to get shipping rates...then clicks "Debit or Credit Card"... and has to re-enter Name, Phone, Email and Address to pay. It should pull all this information into the Paypal Form automatically. Also, it should NOT have the checkbox option to change the shipping address in the Paypal form since that wouldn't update shipping rates. Not to mention, why is the form asking "Ship to Billing" Address when the customer already entered where they want it shipped to?

We are very excited about this PayPal integration and hope the CS-Cart team can get it working properly soon.
How were you able to integrate paypal commerce to your platform? It looks like they removed the "settings" for the paypal commerce platform payment add-on.
Hi guys. I have also been battling to integrate PayPal Commerce to my CS-Cart MV marketplace. Mine is not based in America (although I might have to change that) which adds more complexity and the communication from PayPal has been a struggle. However this is what I have discovered...
I got a reply from merchant support. Apparently the Partner Integration code is the BN Code.
I phoned a UK number again and was informed that Paypal and Braintree are not offering any kind of service for marketplaces until they have finished relaunching their marketplace offering (Paypal Commerce). And this could be months or even next year! I can't even have direct payments with Paypal where I receive the money from the customers and then have to pay the vendors because apparently this model would be rejected during my application. I find this staggering.
A further problem I have is it seems when sending USD to my USD account in UAE, as it enters the country, it is first converted in to AED before being converted back in to USD as it reaches my account. According to Paypal, this is normal and I would need a USA bank to avoid this, as opposed to a foreign bank which holds USD.
Although I have already licensed my marketplace in UAE and set up banking there too, it looks like I will have to pivot to USA, and use Stripe for my payment gateway.
