Contact No As Mandatory Field At Checkout

Though I click customer Contact no./phone no. as mandatory field at checkout, it does not show such setting and customers /guests can checkout without contact/phone no.

If there any additional setting that I need to implement?

Make this field mandatory in the checkout block settings (Design -> Layouts -> Checkout)
