I may have a very basic question but I am hearing different things about this:
Should I use the Meta Keywords" under SEO in Products oder not? And what Effect would it have?

it's true. But It's advisable to fill them out
Its depends upon your choice. Now meta keywords are not necessary. But if you used it is beneficial for your website.
