Can anyone explain this phrase to understand what is meant?
If I have more than two domains, can they all work on the same basic domain?
Multiple Storefronts
You can create multiple storefronts on different domains and control them all via a single admin panel. Open separate storefronts for different countries, vendors, and product types. An you can do it all in munites right in the admin panel.
You can have a single cs-cart ULTIMATE site that will allow you to administer data for multiple storefronts and those storefronts can all have their own domains assuming the correct DNS and Cpanel setups (parked domains) are correct.
For example, if you have a mainsite.com and have created a separate storefront for mainsite2.com
You would set the DNS to use the same IP as mainsite.com
You would configure mainsite2.com as a parked domain in Cpanel.
Cs-cart should then have any references to mainsite2.com go to the mainsite2.com storefront in your mainsite.com admin area.
Go dig through the docs. They are actually accurate for the various ways to enable additional storefronts.
No clue on multi-vendor ultimate. It's a premium product and I don't think they will provide developers with development licenses for it.
But assuming it's modeled after cs-cart ultimate, the instructions should be the same. But at the price of mve-ultimate, you should be able to ask all the questions you want to sales@cs-cart.com BEFORE you purchase.
Okay. So there is only one installation of the addon to CSCART and then that is active for all storefronts whether you want or not.
So if a new storefront is added, any custom addons have to be updated with the new domain or it will cause issues since they can't be disabled for that new storefront.
I am assuming that also means settings are the same for all storefronts as well.
Addons work for the site. It is up to the addon developer whether to have independent operations for different storefronts and/or vendors. The vast majority of addons I'm aware are not "storefront aware".
