when i try to add product variation after defining a value to one of the product feature " weight". The "add variation" button doesn't work and if i remove the product feature value, the button works and ask to define a product feature.

Make sure that feature "weight" has set type to "Variations as one product" or "Variations as separate products". Without it, you won't be able to correctly generate variations.
