Help Needed With Stripe Connect Error - Urgent Rate Topic   - - - - -

Hi everyone

 

 

We have been using Stripe connect for a couple of months now, the other day we made some changes to the site (not payment related) such as altering the shipping credentials and similar and the following day we noticed that Stripe connect wasn't working, on every order we get the below error:

 

Your order has been declined by the payment processor. Please review your information and contact store administration.

 

We have spoken to Stripe and the account is OK, we then contacted AWS as we thought it maybe a server issue but that is also OK so we have been speaking to CS cart but the process is taking way too long, we have been without a payment system for about 5 days now and losing money.

I have tried new API keys, checked everything and even set up a new payment for it to see if that helps but we just get the same error.

 

Can any developers help get this rectified or know what else we could try?

All our customers are getting the error message so its not a quantity/product/price thing, we just cant figure out what is could be.

What order status do you receive?

 

If it is Failed, I see to reasons in the code

 

1. Not all vendors are connected to Stripe

 

2. Error is in request to Stripe. In this case you should see the error message on the order details page in the admin panel.

The order comes through as failed and is not recognised on Stripe as if it is not connected but the vendors are all connected when I look at the vendor page?

I created a test vendor last night and connected that account to try a payment, first time I got the below error message and then when trying again the same error as above?

So CS Cart done some checks today and came back with the following?

We have checked this issue in your store. All of the vendors in your store have a test Stripe account created with a testmode key, and therefore can only be used with testmode keys.

We have created the script that checks every vendor account in the store and all of them receive this error:

 

The account acct_1GRxDIGCTki9Fnl1 was a test account created with a testmode key, and therefore can only be used with testmode keys

 

Does anyone have experience of this?

I spoke to Stripe who said about adding charge API keys but I dont see why we would need to when the payment has been working fine for the last few weeks?

 

The account is live and all API keys are working & live.

There are test and live keys in your API of stripe account. You need to use the live keys not test

Thanks. We already done this when we integrated, the API keys are all live and up to date.

However its looking like the linked vendor accounts are not which is very strange, no idea why it would automatically stop working for no reason?

i am also experiencing same issue in our production site. Please do let me know if there is a fix. cs-cart team is currently checking on this.

We managed to resolve the issue. SK is getting changed somehow. hope it will get fixed in the next release.
