Tjhis is another must have. There are more stores out there WITH affiliates module than WITHOUT
You need tier affiliate capabilities.
You need percentage base and dollar vaule per sale base set ups. (either or selection available as some people pay specific dollare value per itme sold nd others are a percentage of total sales.)
multiple plac set ups, so that if there are better affiliates than others, you could pay them at a different rate than the lower producing affiliate.
1) Specific Promotion capabilities and their tracking for individual affiliates.
2) Banner creation capabilities
3) Product html capabilities (picture links, pic with text, pic, text and buy now button, pic and buy now, or only text link.
4) Admin pre-created store banners for affiliates to post and use.
ability to attach a numbericle value for the partner linkand not the user name for the affiliate portion of the link. this is easily seen and spoofed or possibly blocked by others.
5) All affiliate portions of the links must be added to the operational links automatically so the end user can simply copy paste into their pages.
6) Area to enable admin to add directions, instructions and general help, tips and tricks to the affiliates.
7) ability to see affiliate click stats combined and individually.
Affiliate needs are:
1) ability to see banner clicks
2) sales and commissions from sales (processed, completed, pending, returned for refund etc.
3) commissions paid
4) commissions pending payment
5) ability to harvest html snippets of ads in html format. (listed further above)
6) conversions statistics etc.
7) ability to obtain banners pre made by affiliate by copy and pasting code into their pages
These are just a few items required for a basic affiliates program.
Ability to use flash, png, gif, jpg and bmp for ad extensions. possibly even mov, wav also. there are different storeks for different folks when it comes to advertisement.
This may be late, but thought I would participate. I see no one lese posted specific ideas for your use.
I HAVE TONS OF IDEAS!!!

It would benefit me to have affiliate permenantly linked to particular products...
For example when you setup a new product you can choose to link it to an affiliate if you wish.
Now, every time that item sells the affiliate is paid, not only when the customer follows a link to them.
If there was a built in affiliate module the mods I need to have done to my store won't need as much work!
oh and PayPal mass pay would be a biggie.
Is this likely to be included in 1.3.3 final? If not when is the release with it in likely to be.
Thanks

We're planning to integrate affiliate system in CS-Cart 1.3.3. Our engineers are working on requirements specification now.
Feel free to post your wishes here, they will be taken into account.
So what happened here?
I thought the affiliate's capabilities were going to be added in the 1.3.3 platform?
Someone go to sleep and forget this?

I believe its slated for 1.3.4, just not enough time to add everything.
ET, I remember you saying it would be in next release, but I just noticed where they said it would be released, just asking what happened.
Initially, they seemed dead set on the 1.3.3., now it has proven to be different (1.3.4).
