Tax Exemption Not Working

I am running the latest CS-Cart version 4.11.2.

I noticed that any registered customers who are marked as "Tax Exempt" are being charged tax during checkout. I was able to reproduce the issue using the CS-Cart demo.

The setting I have different then the demo is I have "Price includes tax" unchecked in the "Administration > Shipping & Taxes > Taxes" section.

I submitted it to the bug tracker for review, but is anyone else having this problem?

Yes same here... I Still see tax on an exempt customer so i have to edit the order...

So far it has not been reviewed by CS-Cart staff, but hopefully they can get this fixed quickly.

Does anyone at CS-Cart have an update on this? I don’t see any updates on the bug tracker. Will it be fixed soon? I have several tax exempt customers that I have to keep refunding the taxes charged for every order they place. Thanks.

Sorry about the delays. I've informed the technical support about your bug tracker post that seems to have gone unaddressed for some reason. It will be looked into.

If a problem is urgent, the quicker way is to contact our technical support directly via Help Desk: https://helpdesk.cs-cart.com. They won't take support credits from balance after investigation when a problem turns out to be caused by a bug in CS-Cart (which is the most likely case here).
