Is there a way to disable the ability for customers to send messages from a product page?

It is desirable to show them a "contact us" page instead of ability to send a message.

Disabling the "Contact button on product pages" tick box (in the said plugin) did not help.

Any other solutions?

There is a global (default) setting in the addon. Each product also has a setting for discussions. You might have to change the value in your products. Easiest way to do that globally is to export, change the value, import.

Try to temporary disable this module and check the result

tbirnseth, we will check how that affects things.

ecomlabs, the plugin shows as "installed" and there is no way to disable the plugin, apparently.

We randomly un-ticked the communication for contact on vendor's microstore and this accomplished the task. What a blessing, no?

Is this feature to contact vendor available in latest ultimate version not multivendor ?

On the documentation page it says:

This add-on exists only in Multi-Vendor 4.7.1 and newer versions.

Well thats whats wrong with this cart.. There is no way for customer to contact seller about particular product and for seller to know what product is question about.. Stone age..

Possibly the issue was caused by cache

We cleared cache to make sure changes were applied right away.

But who knows what made it work :-)
