I need to be able to take a 15% deposit for certain products (sheds) on our website. I need to be able to assign this function at product level.
If a customer buys a shed and something else - the 15% should only apply to the shed and nothing else in the basket.
I want to be able to select the choose the products and the % to take at checkout.

Hi Sean, is it not possible for you to assign the COD method with a message saying if you buy this product and dont wish to pay up front , choose this payment method (COD) and we will call you for the 15% deposit.
Bit clunky but depends how busy you are I suppose. Im sure there are addons that can assign certain shipping to certain products.
Or even the recurring plan addon, and set to just 2 payments?

what exactly do you mean by "Deposit"? Do you simply want to add 15% to price of the product?
Should this deposit be refunded, when customer will complete order?

The 15% deposit comes from the total of the product, not added on. So if the product was £100 on the site - at checkout I want to only take 15% of that i.e £15. We then pass the order to the supplier who arranges delivery and installation - and on the day of installation the supplier calls and takes the final payment.
