Hello!

We are slowly changing our Marketplace of add-ons and themes. One of the changes will affect catalog structure and filters. We’d like to help you find the add-on or theme you need quickly and easily. Here is a possible variant of the catalog structure in the Marketplace. Any feedback from you will help: are you ok with this category nesting, are there enough categories and filters, and so on.

No offense but marketplace should be the least of priorities for CSC at this point in time.

Maybe so, and we would appreciate your feedback (such as what you'd rather see done sooner) in other topics of the forum. This topic is for feedback about the Marketplace, and particularly about its categories and filters. It doesn't detriment the development of CS-Cart itself in any way.

Sincerely yours, Alexey Maisuradze

There are hardly enough addons and themes. Even a 3rd party addon site for any other shopping cart has more addons. So much importance on filters should be given only when there are tons of addons.

Please market your software well. Take your marketing to the next level. Have top collaborations. You have a winning product in your hands but nobody knows about it. It pains me so much seeing a great product not having enough developers.

I've used it a lot and find it's very cumbersome. Many, many, out of date add-ons, bad links, poor search engine.

Hi, Ι have also sent this at your sales team.

Glad to see that you are now providing a Market for you addons developers.

My suggestion is that you should also support license management from the store.
Ideally you would define your domains and all addons will activate for those.
This way it will be easy to request a new license activation for a development server.
Now we have to contact all the different addon providers one by one.
(You could also have a higher level of domains grouping since somebody could have
many different stores)

Hi sir, Can you help me in below scenario where our server provider installed Marketplace performance booster and it's still not functional. "Varnish is active on port 80 with Apache serving the backend on port 8080. Apache is also handling SSL termination for just valuesbig.com through port 443. I installed the Marketplace Performance Booster addon to valuesbig.com and activated it. The dashboard says that full page caching is enabled for the frontend, however reviewing the Varnish cache hit rate indicates caching is not occurring. I'm not too sure why caching is not occurring. The issue now is with the /etc/varnish/default.vcl file that was provided by the Marketplace Performance Booster plugin. Since we did not write this, it may be best to speak with the support of the Marketplace Performance Booster plugin regarding assistance as to why caching is not occurring" Sent from my LND-L29 using Tapatalk

As a multi vendor Marketplace, buyer expect to add products in cart and get a single shipping calculation. However, currently, multi vendor Marketplace display vendor wise shipping calculations. It would be wise to add such functionality which displays a single shipping charge to buyer. Also it would be wise to give admin some control at backend so that he can club order of two or more vendorsz can ship together and can apply shipping charges based on total weight of products in cart. REAL PAIN POINT CS Cart is far behind in user experience as compared to eBay etc when we talk about creations of Variations. For example, in CS cart, when we assign features and create Variations, then I'd we wish to change feature to another one and recreate Variantions, we can not do so because feature has been used in a feature group when we can not amend. The only way to do so is to clone and re-assign features. In ebay, on the other hand, it's so simple. You just click, check/un-check certain features/Variantions and you are able to create/re-create Variations. While we deal with large catalogues in multi vendor Marketplace, ITS A REAL OAIN POINT Sent from my LND-L29 using Tapatalk

Valuesbig,

This thread isn't for CS-Cart's software but for 3rd party developer's addons, themes, etc located here. https://marketplace.cs-cart.com/

Many of the addons are so outdated that their functionality is now incorporated in the core product. If you can/will not purge them, at least flag them in some way so they can be filtered out from more updated and worthy products.

Best,
