Hi,

Thank you for letting us know about how CS-Cart evolves. I would like to add an easy and necessary requirement. For the new product features, I am having two features with the same name but with different purposes. It is hard for me to know which one is what. Therefore, there should an internal name (similar to product options) in the admin panel to distinguish features purposes.

For Example:
I have two product features named: Color. One has the purpose: "Variations as separate products". The other has the purpose: "Variations as one product". In the current situation, I cannot know which one is what unless I open it.
For the Multi-Vendor Ultimate, the pricing and plan should be reconsidered! In my case, I just want the mutliple storefronts for my mutlivendor store. I am not interested in the mobile app. Why I have to pay 7500 USD?
Also, having mutliple storefronts for multivendor doesn't always mean that the store is international and cover more than one region (and this is the reason, I belive, you went with costly plan). However, It can be used to separate stores based on product types (garments, electronics.. etc). In this case, differnet front-end designs is very important. I believe, unless you add the functinality to assign themes and layouts to each storefront, this plan will not sell.
Thank you!

when planned 4.10.3 ?

Thank you for sharing the video.

Imac, I have a big favor to ask. Could you share the information about billing address implementation. It would be best if you could provide us with some low fidelity mock-up. This way you would prevent the situation that appeared recently when you released 4.10 and surprised us with no billing address.

My main concern is if you will provide ability to differentiate business / individual billing address. We need different set of fields for company (e.g. Tax Identification Number, Company Name) and different for individual.

I've asked about this multiple times but never got the public answer from you. And there are multiple forum topics regarding this matter

https://forum.cs-cart.com/topic/42200-why-is-there-no-company-registration-and-vat-number-in-cs-cart/

Please give us your official statement.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you!

Learn russian and visit forum.cs-cart.ru They just published a new video there.

International community is not a priority for cs-cart team. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes they deleted my post… coz i am not russian

serious ???? bad news that

I'm sorry for not replying sooner. The lack of new videos in English is due the feedback from our international audience about their quality, and our own similar concerns. In Ilya's own words:

My English is not good, and the only reason I was doing these presentations was to give you Multi-Vendor news first-hand. This was an experiment for a few months, and we hoped that such videos would be interesting for our customers, and give you a better idea how CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor evolve. I understand that content should be of better quality.

After we analyzed the resutls of the experiment, we decided to put the videos in English on hold. The effort and resources required to bring the video reports to the appropriate level of quality were better put in trying to improve CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor themselves.

Unfortunately, such things happen everywhere: people try new things, and not all of those things stick around. I understand that some of you liked those videos, and we're sad to see them go ourselves. For now, the videos are on hold, but this is not to say that won't appear in the future.

Ikoshkin,

thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately, I strongly disagree with your opinion.

The quality of the video doesn't matter. What matters is the information flow. Right now the international audience has been deprived of the ability to influence software development. We as a community have no way to give you feedback before you roll the new features out (while you're developing new features).

I really liked the videos. I also enjoyed the roadmap. Right now for the international customers there is no roadmap and no videos.

@ikoshkin i am wonder when you shutdown the community forum?

Comunity never influenced roadmap

Comunity never influenced roadmap

You are wrong. E.g. On the russian forum there was a video report with demo of product features. The proposed implementation was horrible and not functional. Because of the opposition to changes, the proposed new product feature implementation was never introduced.

Yet again, only the russian speaking community has the ability to influence the direction in which the cs-cart is developing.

As much i remember everything in bugtracker, here was suggested to post to uservoice but barely ever implemented.

I thought Ilya did a good job of presenting the video tbh

@ikoshkin i am wonder when you shutdown the community forum?

Do you think any of your posts would ever be more positive ?

No, someone should tell the truth. Cs-cart not old cs-cart

About what?

We're running multiple stores on CS Cart and from all the systems we've tested in the past 10 years CS Cart proven to be the best solution. For simpler webshops we use WooCommerce because CS Cart is overkill, but we've stopped magento and prestashop all together.

By no means CS Cart is perfect, but there isn't any other system on the market that is.

Can u tell me wich one price is 7500 usd?

Whu do you say CS Cart cost 7500. That's BS.
Our mainshop runs on Ultimate version which was around 800 and about 100 per year. Currently has 6+ Multistores on it.
Is that expensive? Not at all.

Woocommerce is my favorite E-commerce solution and it's free, however a decent RMA system costs 75 a year. If you add all functionality to Woocommerce you go to around 400 a year minimum. We swapped a customer over who needed about 600 a year worth in modules which are default in CS. Cart and she is super happy!

Prestashop is free, has a lot of functionality similar to CS Cart, however the variations in Prestashop work with Combinations. If you have a lot of products which have more then 3-4 variations you're in deep sh*t.
Let's add 150 a year for the module do to proper variations a year.

Opencart, is free. Have you ever worked with Opencart? I do not like it. Dreadful.

And then...Magento.
Whilst Magento community edition is free it is still very heavy. You need very good server specs to run it, which cost you a minimum of 50-100 a month.
Same as with Woocommerce, Magento isn't very feature packed. You need some addons on it, and the price of them are usually insane, also no support.

If you want support ... 20000+ dollar a year for the enterprise edition. Got that? 20.000+ dollar. And then you still need the expensive hosting and addons :)
