When I look into features, the ID is different from what I made. What am I doing wrong?

Do you mean different IDs in the exported file and on the Products -> Features page? Make sure that you checks Products -> Features page, not Products -> Filters one

Unfortunately, variant IDs are not displayed in the admin panel
