Hi there,

after a lot of trial and errors, finally I upgraded from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4
Then I upgraded to 4.1.5: everything apparently worked fine but when upgrading to 4.2.1 there were a lot of errors regarding missing fields in the db.

So I revert back to 4.1.5 which seems to work fine.

Now I have again the chance to upgrade to 4.2.1 BUT according to the installed upgrade page,  It seems I'm on 4.1.4!
Maybe this is the reason of the failure to switch from 4.1.5 to 4.2.1?
Is there any known fix for this?

Tnx in advance.

The issue may be caused by server timeouts or incorrect file/directory permissions that do not allow upgrade script to update some files.

If you need assistance with the upgrade, you can submit a ticket via Help desk.

After a lot of trials, and changing the permissions to 755/655 at every new step, now i got 4.2.2 working.
But it's not eough to switch to PHP7.
Now the trouble with the "missing db fields" appears upgrading to 4.2.3

The help desk answered that tey're "too busy" to help me...

A real nightmare: I will never - I say never ever - suggest this software to anyone wishing to manage a shop on line!
