I am moving one site which is configured with a second store front from one Cpanel VPS to another new Cpanel VPS.

Now my question is since there is already a "directory" with the second store front domain name in the root of the store on our old VPS, should I add a addon domain once again on the new VPS ?

At any rate let me better describe the issue at hand.

As you by now know I run two CS Cart installations on one VPS

CS Cart installation 1: is only configured with one store front, namely www.pasioonline.com and runs just fine with the LE (Let's Encrypt) Auto SSL

CS Cart installation 2: is configured (perhaps better phrased configured) with two separate store fronts, namely www.bodynmindpotion.com (main domain) and www.muscleperformance.eu (addon domain).

CS Cart installation 2 with main domain / main store front www.bodynmindpotion.com is very much well secured by the LE AutoSSL yet the second store front www.muscleperformance.eu is not. Why is it not ? How do I fix that properly ?

Documentation from Cpanel suggest that I must convert the second store front as a separate Cpanel account in order to secure that second addon domain and convert it to an Cpanel account in order to have LE AutoSSL secure this domain.

However the CS Cart installation documentation does not cover such an issue.

I had to recreate the addon domain within Cpanel.

Thank you for sharing this information. It's good to know that there are problems with LE. But a separate cpbackup for a virtual addon domain with no real separate document root is an overkill. Try to re-generate the LE for all addon, parked and subdomains associated with the main domain.
