We are selling our products in multiple countries with different VAT percentages, so we need to upload our prices without VAT. Actually for many more reasons such as to prevent rounding errors and to make VAT free invoices without hassle.
Unfortunately I can only set if the price is incl vat or excl vat. But that affects the way things are displayed on the website and emails, which is not ok. By law we always have to show the incl vat on a business to consumer website.
So my request would be to add an option per storefront on how to display the price.
No, the price incl vat in your screenshot is the secondary price, hence the brackets. The primary displayed price throughout the whole site and in the emails etc has to be the primary.

Then you need this - primary price is incl. Vat, all other prices are options
But can i use that without the select box? So that it always just adds 21% to the retail price? Do you use variants for that or something?
Yes, you can use one variant in the global option, but why would you need to add VAT to price that already includes VAT?
My vendors come from different countries with different VAT rates for different types of products, so this must be a Global option with as many variants as the particular vendor needs. The client is obliged to choose one of these options, the one that precisely corresponds to his/her fiscal status, etc., etc There is no simple solution for this issue. But the above solution is universal and fits any country. Unfortunately, it is not automatic. Here is where a Smart VAT Addon is needed.
