Is it possible to set filters so costumer can only see ONLY the products in his range of shipping instead of adding to the basket and at check out see that its not being shiped to his localization?
something simular to this:

but with regular shipping, and is it possible to set is a default ? Without need to click filters ?

Unfortunately, it is not possible out of the box. If system calculates rates for each item, the page will be loaded for ages

Following the same line or reasoning, is there a block that will show the shipping rates on the product page in the manner they are shown in the cart - but without adding the product to the cart. Or, if there are only 3 possible shipping rates, like in ebay, to list them along with the other information?
Wouldnt be possible to do it otherwise?
im cosindering two types of vendors localy by city, and globaly by country.
if customer allredy has his city pre defined at registration , and vendor would set shipping method byc this specyfic city it wuld match and be listed.
the same situation with country range .
if it works with free shipping method. why it cant with the city?

Yes, several addons allow to do it. For example, our Product Shipping Cost one

Free shipping is just one field in the database. And it is easy to filter products by this value since no any calculations are required

simular solution is in gumtree, airbnb , booking,and even multi vendor:

multi vendor addon is even more complex becouse it uses google .
if that would limit to one country nad about 10-20 cities woludt it be problem for loadin??
