Hello All! I want to get a blog going and I'm not sure which way to go.

I bought the add-on from Cart Power and while it is better than the native blog that comes with CS-Cart, it has its limitations.

I’m not looking to do a conventional blog, where there’s just a bunch of posts, listed in chronological order. It’s more of a “how to” blog that will need to be separated into specific sections and have a nice user interface. The appearance of it means a lot to me and I’m sure will have a big impact on inducing visitors to come back.

I’d like to use either WordPress or Joomla for this but would like to hear some expert opinions on this. I thought I read here a while back that using WordPress created security concerns with hackers being able to break into the CS cart admin through WordPress somehow.

I also seem to recall reading that the SEO benefits are greater when using the native blog that resides within CS-Cart.

Any thoughts on this? Anything else that I’m missing?
