Direct Customer-to-Vendor Payments [Beta] allows vendors to create their own promotions. At least, it says so - never tested how the promotions work.

That add-on is part of Multi-Vendor Plus and I don't have interest in upgrading my Multi-Vendor.

It's hard to know if that how it works as there's no demo for vendor admin if it's really the Vendor who is able to create the promotions or it might still be the Marketplace Admin. From the screenshots of that add-on it's not clear who created the promotions.

Thanks for providing the link for the demo. Let me check it and hopefully it works as desired.
The add-on works as described but seems there's one issue if i'm not mistaken.
When a Vendor creates a Promotions, under the Conditions Tab the Vendor can see all the Categories and can select any of it and be included in the promotions which is not ideal. It should only see the Categories where the Vendor has its product is listed.

We don't want to bind the categories for Vendor's plans instead it would be better if Vendors can only create promotions for their products thereby saying they should only have access to their on products for promotions.

If the promotion is created by the vendor, you create a promotion on the catalog and you want to choose specific products, you only have the vendor products for which you create promotions. It works fine.

Yes I agree with you that you can choose specific products the vendor listed, but still have the big risk that the vendor is able to have all the categories in the marketplace be put on promotions in which I mentioned earlier that this is not right. The ability of the vendor to promote a product that is not their own will have a nasty consequences.

I try set promotion for Cyberdyne Systems which is assigned to the Bronze plan and the plan has access to two categories. When creating a promotion, you can only see these two kateogrie like on screen.
It seems to me that it works well.

Your add-on work perfectly for those who use the Vendor Plan to restrict categories. But for us we don't bind Categories to Vendor Plans that's the reason why your add-on doesn't satisfy our needs. It would be ridiculous to create multiple vendor plans and associate with each of the categories we have.

Let's make an example: there are three categories in store: A, B, C. Vendor has access to all categories, but he has products only in categories A and B, so he cannot create promotion for category C.
