I'm trying to figure out how to improve the look of the search results page. Under the Layout for Search Results you only have a few block options for the Main section that this resides in that really do nothing.
I'd prefer to have a few things
1. Layout that mimics any category results page with sorting and grid, etc layout options.
2. Refine search within results.
The default list with no images is lacking.
I see some options for live search and implemented Searchinese for now but may use ecom's quick search instead. Regardless, I'd like a better search results page.
There is a dispatch for Search product but I'm not sure that's what I really need... there IS 'Search results' though, which would seem to be what I want. I want to create a better search results page that also has the search filters.
So if search in pages is enabled use search.results
In other way use products.search
Hi eComLabs,
when search in pages is enabled, it gives results without images and only product name and just lines. but when search in pages is not enabled, it gives results live normal category style, with image and columns.
is there any possibilities to make both research results same full view?
it's really good to have search pages as well, visitors can read blogs, pages and products. sometimes you might have some good keywords on your pages too.
