I am not sure when this started (Just upgraded from 4.8.1 to 4.9.1) but I have been noticing (via logs) a lot of unnecessary requests to Google Maps API and was wondering if anyone else has been noticing this as well or if it is just isolated to my install. Since Google is charging for the service, I need to figure out what is going on with all of the unnecessary calls.
So far I have noticed the requests during the following actions:
Cron job for Google Sitemap - 2 requests apparently using admin credentials
Cron job for a product update addon - 2 requests apparently using admin credentials
Adding products to cart - 3 requests
Cart page - 1 request
Empty cart - 1 request
