Hmmm, good idea but how does this sit with the new GDPR regs, dont customer check out as guest BECAUSE they dont want to save info on our sites ?
I guess you'll only use this when customers request it? We do get this quite often - people who order as guests, then decide they want an account and we manually give them reward points from their guest order then but can't see previous orders.

Thanks for this message. The Guest orders add-on doesn't create new profiles so there can't be any problems with GDPR. Our add-on allows you to move guest order into registered customer profile who already accepted GDPR.
I too have had some customers checkout as guests and then wanting to be registered so they can look at their orders or redownload their egoods, and other reasons, the addon saved the day.
[+] - Integration with the add-on CP: Phone registration with OTP v 2.1. Allows you to place a guest order even if a user with the same phone number is already registered in the database.
[!] - If separate user databases were used on installations with multiple storefronts, orders might not be transferred to user accounts correctly. Fixed.
