I have a question about search filters.
I want to allow vendors (I'm using MV CS Cart) to add a colour to each product they set up. I don't want this to be a variant within the product I want it to be part of the main product and be able to be chosen from a drop down on product search.
For example: The vendor adds a product called 'Rose', I want them to be able to apply a filter colour such as 'White' rose, 'Red' rose etc. Each product/colour should appear as a SEPARATE product not as a variant within the rose product. And I want the customer to be able to choose a 'colour' as a search field so they can see all products that are for example 'white'. The main thing is that customers can see all products of a colour grouped together in search results. I also want this label to be visible on the product description, say under the heading.
Ideally, I want to be able to have a predefined list of these colours that vendors choose from so they don't create their own.
i might want to add additional filters in same way.
From what I can see I can't do this. Is there a way this can be done with standard CS Cart functionality?
If not is there an add-on that does this or does it need specific customisation?
