Hi,

I hope someone can help me here!

I'm trying to create sales reports as follows:

How many products of manufacturer X were sold to our wholesale customers, per customer

What I do is:

Object to analyze: users

Value to display: the number of products, or product costs

Under products, I select all products from a manufacturer

I thought it worked but sensed something was off. It turns out, cs-cart counts all products from an order, not just the products that I selected (everything from one manufacturer) but all the products from any order 1 or more products from my selection are in. That doesn't make any sense to me.

Does anybody know how to do this? See image attached (in which something went wrong with the last line, but I meant: the report says I sold 11 products. I want to see I sold 4 products, because I only selected products of Brand Y.)

Thanks!

Nobody that can help me here? I'm quite desperate to get this to work. Is custom development needed or am I missing something obvious?

Hello!

Is manufacturer a product feature? How did you try to make a report? Did you try Orders->View purchased products?

Yes, manufacturer is a product feature. But I also tried it by making a category per manufacturer and selecting products that way.

The problem is, customers of course order various manufacturers products at once. In the report I only want to see the products customers bought from 1 manufacturer so I can send them reports, but cs-cart counts all products from an order, not just those from the manufacturer (the products I choose in the export conditions).

Thanks for your help.

Please have a look at the purchased products page: Orders->select orders->View purchased products in the gear button. Then in the advanced search you can select brand in "Search by product filters" section if you have such filter. You will see purchased qty and subtotal sum for each sold product from this brand. I hope it can help you.

That's the thing. I do exactly that. Still, it shows me all sales (all products from all manufacturers) from orders as long as 1 product of the search selection is in ot. That's the problem... try it :)

So according to cs-cart, this is not a bug, but a missing feature..........
