Dhl Express Labels

Does anybody know a working label generating add-on for DHL Express? One that connects to the API, and simply spits out a label?

Thanks!

Hello,

Sadly there is no module available like that, but we would be happy to create such functionality for you!

You may contact us here: sales@poppedweb.com.

Kind regards,

P.S. Do you also have a lot of trouble with DHL with regard to lost packages and such? (A lot of my customer say so).

Never had lost package or complaint from customers about end service. TNT was rather bad experience. Never used UPS mainly due to pricing.

We are also at your service. Addons for UPS and Fedex labels are in progress now

Hello,

P.S. Do you also have a lot of trouble with DHL with regard to lost packages and such? (A lot of my customer say so).

We had big problems with DHL lost parcels, damaged boxes, we dumped them in the end.

In our experience they are good. We get a lot of deliveries sent to from the UK and US with DHL Express and so far no problems.

UPS is not suited for delivery to consumers because of the extra fee, and DHL Express made us a nice offer for EU next day deliveries, which is why I'm looking into integrating it.

We already have DHL Germany (Paket) integrated, I guess I'll ask the same developer to add DHL Express as an option (even though the api is completely different - it's a totally different company even that compete with each other!).

Well, I have one customer who has shipping all across Europe as well and I can certainly tell that it is rather annoying that only Germany uses a different DHL 'system'. Also, I am wondering how in the world DHL hasn't lost your packages at all since some of my customers have a 10% loss rate in packages (including entire pallets), but I guess that is just DHL's magic :).

Easy, flow just turns on his Super Duper and Amazingly Sexy charm :)

I dont have that so have to suck it with UPS and DPD :(

Basically, there are 2 DHLs. They are seperate companies and even compete with each other:

DHL Germany, which is basically the German Post and uses names like DHL Paket. We have a really nice 1 click label generator in our admin are for their system.

DHL Express: the competitor of UPS, FedEx, etc - they use a completely different system, API, trucks, drivers, support - everything is different.

Nice and confusing right?

Anyway, we have inside Germany, a > 98% success rate with German DHL.

We import a couple of times per month using DHL Express and I don't even remember having had 1 missing parcel.

We are now looking into shipping from Germany to other EU countries with DHL Express because that way our parcels would be delivered much faster, since they don't outsource to local postal companies, which is where it usually goes wrong when we ship with "German DHL".

You're wrong there though, I don't need to turn it on. It's always on.
