I'm looking at Multiple Storefronts as a possible solution to dilemma we have.
We have a Online Store and Garden Centre, our online store is also our local website. What we want is to have two prices, an online price and Garden Centre price but as the online price is likely to be higher than the garden centre price I don't want this to be seen as negative showing a lower garden centre price to the majority of our visitors.
Could a second store front be used in this way? can each store have different prices but still use same stock quantities?
Yes, you can do it that way so you don't intrude on your own brand. You can also do it via using the "Registered" usergroup. Hence users that are logged in could see different pricing than those who are not.
Most sites have a Wholesale usergroup where customers can be placed in that group for special pricing and have minimum order amounts applied.
