The new GDPR Cookie Law Addon is an add-on for informing visitors about the cookie privacy and third party tracking services like google analytics, which is required for all web pages by the GDPR since 25/5/18.
Its the only addon that allows you to fully comply with GDPR Cookies policy.

You can display a responsive warning banner on the right or the left lower corner, while it's multilingual and will adapt to the color of your theme.


 


Visitors can then choose which service to activate or all together.. This will be then hidden on the lower corner and can be called back anytime to change the preferences.


 


The most popular scripts like Google analytics, google enhanced, google tag manager, google remarketing and Facebook pixel will be automaticly recognized and controled by the cookie's slider (on/off).


 


You can also set the link for the page of your privacy policy.

But you could always change the text through transaltion in both paragraphs.


 


The sliders can be more, according to what the script will find on the page (Facebook, analytics, remarketing, tags etc)


 


So this can be longer.

Just to update this. I bought the GDPR cookie extension from dvsgr and it is excellent. He was most helpful in advising me how i could tweak it a little for my sites needs. It works perfectly and is 1000 times better than the default offering , looks much more professional and it's location can be moved easily.


it is not too large at all, its is perfect size and looks much more like big sites have rather than cs cart message box which looks like something from an old Joomla site.

Hey Fotis, I still have quite an old version of this and would like to start using it again since checks have / will become a lot more strict, especially for google analytics. Can I still use this old version or do I need an update? The filename I have is popup_cookie_law_4.3.x-4.7.x_-_rev3
