Hello,

 

I have installed 4.7.4 version recently as I was asked to "modernise" an old eshop.

 

I have created a csv file accordind to structure of an exported csv from cs-cart (as I couldn't find an sample anywhere !)

 

I have tried all the combinations of comma seperated or delimeter, of text distinction by single or double quotes but all I get is "Error : The impoted file must contain these fields: E-mail"

 

Please help ,I don't have a clue what causes this problem

What columns do you have in your file?

 

Also try to export file and import it without any changes to define if the issue is in your file.

I use the exported file from cs-cart with these columns:

E-mail

User type

Status

Password

First name

Phone

Web site

Language

Billing: first name

Billing: address

Billing: address (line 2)

Billing: country

Billing: zipcode

Shipping: first name

Shipping: address

Shipping: address (line 2)

Shipping: country

Shipping: zipcode

Reward points user

(reward points  from a third party addon which exported the points per user, fine)

 

I saved the file with utf-8 encoding , comma seperated and double quotes for text.

some rows include NULL word in some fields or empty fields, but not empty email.

Finally found the problem 

The soft maker office software was damaging my csv !

Edit it with libre office and the import was successfull
