I am currently running 4.5.2.SP2 @ ridetech.com. I have a version of the site running on a local machine as well using XAMPP. I want to test he upgrade on the local site prior to deploying the update on the live site.
The issue I am having is getting the update installed locally. I am not sure how to connect to the upgrade center using the local install.
What are my options on getting the upgrade in place locally?
The only thing I can think of is to download the upgrade on the live site without installing, then copy the upgrade to local. Other than that, contact helpdesk and explain your situation and maybe they will provide the upgrade.?
I am having an issue finding where the live site downloads the update. Can you tell me the directory?
If I can remember it's /var/upgrade/packages/

Is this installation located on the offline local machine? If not, you should be able to upgrade via the Upgrade center
