Our home page is getting bogged down with lot of CS-cart scripts getting loaded. Will it be a good idea to keep the home page static and separate from cs-cart store. We can use something like a wordpress for the home page and keep the cs-cart store on the store directory. Would love to hear from the experts on these forums.

If you don't want/need functionality that is being provided by these scripts, why not just disable them?
