Hide Shipping Address For Some Ship Methods Rate Topic   - - - - -

We are offering an In-Store Pickup shipping option. When this is selected the customer is still asked to enter their Shipping address, which can be confusing.

 

Is there a way to hide the shipping address portion for certain ship methods like this since it's not needed, but still show it for other ship methods?

This seems to still be the case at end of 2020. Very confusing for customers to have to put a delivery address in for store collection. Also when setting up a pickup point you have to put in the Country, County and City. i Presume the delivery address would change to these fields when the pickup is selected but it doesn't, on my store anyway.

Thanks. tried that ticked and unticked but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks. mine doesn't do that for some reason. however it the big "Deliver To - city - state- country"  that i find confusing. Why have that there if its store pickup? that shows on both of your screen shots.

I also notice my shipping methods use a radio select group where on the demo page they are more like buttons.

have contacted support but got a message back that they are busy.

Hi. All latest updates are installed so is latest version and step by step module is on.
There are a few things on my checkout not working properly.

1: the send order button price doesn’t update when changing shipping method (unless the page is manually refreshed.
2. The pickup store location has show as list instead of map but map still displays
3. Don’t require customers address is ticked for store pickup but is not hidden

I thought i was using new checkout. Have latest version installed. I do i disable step by step checkout?
